Life in the Theatre

Lights, Sound and Perform!

Lights. Camera. Music all throughout the theatre.

People running all around. Director calling all the shots. Stage left and Stage right.

Crew setting lights and props up. Costumes galore! The smell of stage makeup in the area. You can feel the nerves and excitement in the air.

Clicks of the soundboards being tested. Props being changed. Sets moving scene after scene.

Remembering lines. Not forgetting choreography.

Step by step. One foot in front of the other. Side to side. Colorful lights bouncing off the walls and actors. Lighting up the faces of the crowd.

The gasps of the characters in the background. Soft beautiful singing from the Ensemble.

Wondrous on time music roams around the theatre from the orchestra pit.

The sighs of relief and happiness once the curtain falls. Shows over. Time to go home. Wake up the next day and repeat again for an entire season of fun.

Life in the theatre is never a dull moment.
