Life in a rose garden
the unnoticed and disregarded

unnoticed and disregarded little leaves strewn
accross the cement path that weaves around
turns around the circular beds abound
right to the edge of the path we prune it
it winds around the edge of a leaf whilst
the wind pushes away all our thoughts cares
and most of them leave us, not to return
again, yet we still feel them in our hearts
in our big eyes we cry one or three tears
but as they fall down our cheeks they get big
bigger than dimes they coalesce into
something more than what they were to us all
so they become three small water spirits
taking their places in the round rose beds
tis ther new home and forever shall be
