Life goes on

Time flies away as life goes on and on

Had to take a break,

When my future is at stake.

Because I remembered the good times,

when happiness bloomed every day.

Even though I had no dimes,

every letter felt like rhymes,

living with a smile was the only way.

When the pillow was cold every night,

carrying heavy books was the only fight,

when the dark withered my heart away.

Now I sit alone in the dark.

A beautiful memory is the only mark.

The abyss tamed me in a way,

that thunder became a spark.

All the silent judgement rots me away.

Nobody noticed that sorrow,

but there is always a tomorrow.

So, life goes on.

If there is only one way,

that way is the one to follow.

But keep one thing in mind.

If there's no support from behind,

move forward with the flow.

May life shape you into a prosperous kind
