Life After Death

Is it true does it exist ?

Life After Death

When the final breath slips softly away,

And silence settles where words once stayed,

Does the soul rise free from earthly chains,

Leaving behind its sorrows and pains?

Perhaps there is a path beyond sight,

A road untouched by darkness or night,

Where memories gather like gentle rain,

And lost hearts are whole and healed again.

Many have wondered what waits ahead,

Beyond the place we call the dead,

Questions carried through every age,

Written across life’s fragile page.

Maybe loved ones stand near the door,

Welcoming us to something more,

Their voices warm, their faces bright,

Guiding us through endless light.

The burdens carried through passing years,

The hidden wounds, the silent tears,

Could finally rest and drift away,

Like shadows fading at break of day.

No clocks would tick, no seasons change,

No fear of loss, no feelings strange,

Only peace beyond compare,

A lasting comfort waiting there.

Though none return with certain proof,

Hope still lingers beyond the roof,

Of every home and every land,

Held gently in a higher hand.

So while we walk this earthly ground,

Seeking answers never found,

We carry faith deep in our chest,

Believing one day we shall rest.

Until that time our hearts endure,

Holding onto what feels sure,

That love survives when life is through,

And waits beyond the distant blue.

Perhaps death is not the end at all,

Only another gentle call,

Leading souls from time’s embrace,

Toward a calm and sacred place.
