Liar Liar Liar Girl
Not the best of choice to make

Liar Liar Liar Girl
You spoke with confidence and grace,
A gentle smile upon your face,
Every word appeared sincere,
Leaving little room for fear.
I listened closely to your voice,
Believing trust was the wiser choice,
Thinking honesty lived inside,
Far beyond what you would hide.
The stories changed from day to day,
Truth seemed to slowly drift away,
Details shifting every time,
Like scattered words that failed to rhyme.
Promises made beneath the sky,
Became another passing lie,
Leaving questions in their place,
And shadows where there once was grace.
The heart can only bend so far,
Before it shows each hidden scar,
Each broken trust leaves its mark,
Like fading light consumed by dark.
Still you carried on the game,
Never accepting any blame,
Building walls around the truth,
While hiding evidence and proof.
Eventually masks begin to fall,
Revealing what was there through all,
No disguise can stay forever,
No deception remains that clever.
Truth arrives without a sound,
Yet turns the whole world around,
Exposing what was hidden deep,
And waking those once fast asleep.
The strongest thing a person owns,
Is honesty within their bones,
A treasure greater than gold,
Worth far more than wealth untold.
So liar, liar, liar girl,
Watching falsehoods twist and whirl,
Remember truth will always stay,
Long after lies have faded away.
