She knew what she should already know

Her life was never simple, or as she thought it should be.

Daily struggles, confusion, and all her dreams shortcomings of reality.

Some might say it was all her fault or based on the choices she made.

For the most part, she couldn't disagree, but for other reasons, she felt played.

With a heart of gold and a desire to be the best version of a human being.

Made her an easy target to be sought out as a puppet on a string.

Now that she knows her worth and is no longer available to take the blame.

Her life is less dramatic and not fueled by thoughts of shame.

No longer feeling bad for what scraps others throw in her face.

Fully aware she is one in a million and can't be replaced.

So, although, letting go isn't the easiest of plans...

It's exactly what she needs to live a life without unrealistic demands!
