My mind and heart never seem to agree
On who to win the battle or who to be set free
My mind says yes and my heart says no
They keep fighting but it ends in a draw
The mind might destroy and the heart mends
All the thoughts that run through my head
They say everything begins in the mind is what I try to believe
The love yet chaos is something so real
Maybe it lies in the heart is what I choose to believe that once you love something you can't let it go free
Even in years it's still there with you
No matter how far they are far away from you
Healing process not a daydream come true
Healing takes time but I wish the opposite was true
Maybe one day my mind will agree that my heart has accepted to let everything go and finally be set free
