there is only one meaningful thread
it flows as water
and flies, spider silk above the trees
unbreakably beautiful
self generating
a true familiar
long ago flashes upon the inner eye:
many lives of paths lightly step
see the sinuous line of wind
wending it's way
making love to the plains endless
the grasses giving way, sighing, turning
as one response of so many to the touch
within stillness the dance lingers
within silence are songs born
ubiquitous in it's everchanging absence
the present
a gift of the buffalo woman's song
what passes is a ripple
the river stays and moves on
