Left Turn

verse 1

By Forest GreenPublished 2 months ago • 1 min read

Left burn on the track, wrist hot like a stove

Came up from the cold, now the money in the fold

Step light, talk heavy, got the city on hold

Chain cold, heart colder, watch the story unfold

They smile in your face while they plotting your fall

I laugh in they face, then I duck when they call

Took the long way up, now the view from the top

Every loss was a lesson, every win made me pop

Left burn in the rearview, still running the lane

Came through with the flame, left smoke in my name

No cap, no slack, just the facts in the stack

Every bar move real close, every move like a map

I don’t wait on permission, I just move how I move

Turn a loss to a win, turn the fake into proof

Left burn, still hot, still lit, still the one

Came from nothing, now the nothing getting done
