Left or Right

Poem on Decisions

By Amanda MeltonPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

The choices we make every day

Impacts us for the rest of our lives.

Choices are driving down the path,

Going the longest or quickest way to our destination.

As if a higher being is driving a car full of someone’s choices,

Deciding which path to take.

If he goes left inside of right,

Does it mean it’s wrong?

When he runs a red light,

When he sees the lights of trouble behind,

Will he stop?

Will he tell the truth?

Every day the choices become harder,

Which way? Left or right?

If I go that way,

Then where?
