Structures built here
Throughout this world,
Yet chaos still
Between the lines.
~
The order to which
We live our lives,
Is made as such
To close our eyes.
~
We play the roles
To which we learnt,
But never fight
Against the rules.
~
Our hearts endure
Despite our cries,
A love that burns
Within our souls.
~
Took for granted
Time in spades,
Shades of grey
We leave behind.
~
Black and blue
Our hearts are due,
To save our minds
We break our ties.
~
In time we feel
Light from dark,
A home that was
And life that won’t.
~
A place to which
I call a home,
I know I must
Attempt to keep.
~
But tell me please
How life resumes,
When family was
My place of home?
