Leaves fall where my past lies

The beginning

By Christian HoustonPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

I had to let you go,

Living in you kept me trap

inside a hell that felt so cold,

I'm on my own path now

I wont be able to go back, back to where I started.

I could only continue this journey a day at a time.

Every time I look in the mirror, I see a vessel

A vessel that has been adopted, set up by a higher power that I can't see,

I have no power, just a kid living in a world,

a world that could live without me.
