Leaves Crafts

I went on my morning walk,

autumn leaves everywhere,

on the tree canopy

twirling, falling,

leaves on the ground.

I saw the Chinese rain tree leaves

with patterns of green and yellow.

they were attractive.

I thought I can make some craft,

and I picked some.

Sitting in backyard sun,

I made some pieces

with other flowers and foliage,

hung them with jute twine

from a door, rustic décor,

to add festive cheer.

All my efforts are

focused on sustainability,

bonding with nature,

and environment protection.

I kept some leaves for the

school-going daughter.

Always inspired from mother,

she will want to make her own.

And that’s how I bask in a season,

take offerings from nature,

and satisfy creative urges.
