Leafy Sea Dragon

In the depths of the ocean blue,

Lives a creature strange and new,

It's called the leafy seadragon,

A fish that's truly like no other one.

With its slender, twisted frame,

And leafy fins that seem to sway,

It glides through the water with ease,

Its beauty a sight that simply must please.

The Glauert's seadragon is its name,

A unique one-of-a-kind claim to fame,

It's the only one in its genus,

A true marvel that does impress.

In the family of Syngnathidae,

This fish does undoubtedly reside,

Amongst seadragons, seahorses, and pipefish,

It's a true treasure, and just as grand as a dish.

So next time you're near the ocean's depths,

Keep your eyes peeled, and reduce your breaths,

For if you're lucky, you might just see,

The leafy seadragon in all its majesty.
