Lava

The Story of Crimson Hair

By Nada GomaaPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Scarlett hot lava halos’ my summit,

Bubbling, simmering, overflowing from spirit

Anointed in floral arrays, beyond vermilion haze

A bristly temper softly lurks, clout still ablaze

Crimson flakes are radiant and rhythmic,

Cascading curtains preserve; whispering of mystics

Entrusted with kindling, I re-flame petrified roots in haste;

Iridescent lilacs bedevil me, but eagerly I embrace

These silken waves are tender to hallow winds,

Though amorphous by design; its purpose, to embolden the mind

Passing gazes breifly lured by sweet hibiscus musk,

To be met by torched eyes; my flamed aura brusque

I stand canopied in magma, exterior inflamed;

Emerging a luminous volcano, ruby spirit reclaimed.
