It became clear her life was unfolding, falling down.
It became no more of her glory town.
The household of five acquired the desired content.
But unexpectedly,
She now only did the laundry for four...
Her son suffered a heart attack the night before.
As time heals wounds, it cannot restore what was first arranged.
Until her divorce collapsed another change.
She only did laundry for 3 now.
Her remaining family members,
Were now growing older.
She was only in the laundry for two when her daughter moved out.
Amidst the towels, only two of them remain in this wreckage world.
Time really shows, who you really need to do laundry for~

I wanted to poetically depict a natural progression through the reality of life while showing chaos destroying it.

Kodah, this is marvelous and unique. Very imaginative piece about life's progression. Nothing remains still, does it.
Sadly watching her life collapse💔. Well done, Kodah!
Really clever take on life. Love how the ordinary tasks reflect our relationships. Great stuff Kodah.
Very deep and sad way to look at the reality. This was wowed me. Well done!
Oh wow, this was so deep and so real! That's why we should always be alone and single. That way, we only need to do laundry for one for the rest of our lives. As in, there won't be any changes that breaks our heart. Loved the concept you used for your poem!
This was great. Absolutely great. I loved how you showed the progression of time as various people leaving the main character. Haunting and brilliant!
Mundane changes do reflect profound realities.
Emotional and thought-provoking poem with masterful usage of words.
So poignant and rooted in realism
Sad but true, Kodah. It’s tragic when parents survive their children.
So tragic indeed.
