Trying to Remember
You always ask me if I remember the sound of your heart, but I can't remember the sound because our hearts beat as one with each other. You are the beat of my heart and I the beat of yours. It's like footsteps. Bump. Bump. Bump. Bump. One right after another in the march that is our love.

Heartbroken
Heartbroken but repaired, you came into my life. Like an unexpected summer breeze, that cools the burn, you were something that took me away and soothed the ache that remained. A delight, a joy, a happiness I had not had in years. I found myself falling down and hard like the leaves in the autumn, a natural way, something that was suppose to be. Passion in the heart and full of a new healed love, how could this feeling ever end? How could the one who says I’m perfect in every way ever leave? This love so maddening, thoughts never crossed as my mind floated closer to the clouds.
