Late Snow, Early Flowers

It's spring it's not spring

Living in the land of bipolar weather

We never know what the outcome may be

One day we may be dancing in the sunlight

And before we know it we're suffocating in a white blanket of snow

Although the flowers are budding and begging to bloom

Begging to be free and begging to be shown

They risk the chance of freezing and dying alone

They bud and they bloom and are beautifully brave

A metaphor for life and the way we should live

Be brave in the storm and bloom when it's tough

You were made to be brave and bloom in full force
