Thoughts ignite.

Sometimes, I'm at a loss.

From my late-night thoughts coming across.

That I couldn't ignore.

The things that have been on mind from before.

Sometimes, I'm just pondering.

With a song stuck in my head or my mind-wandering.

Thinking about the memories of my day, I couldn't forget.

And about things I shouldn't worry about or haven't happened yet.

Sometimes, I'm feeling heartbroken.

Holding on to some things I should keep to myself, leaving them unspoken.

Maybe someone out there understands me without having to say it.

I can only take it all to God in prayer, even if it's for a bit.

Sometimes, I'm staying up with someone feeling carefree.

Talking about anything and everything while enjoying a cup of tea.

Lately, I'm not the only one having some strife.

It's worth appreciating the quietness of the busyness in life.

Sometimes, I'm looking forward to tomorrow.

Letting go of any remaining worries, fear, or sorrow.

I'm ready for a new day to proceed.

To go on an adventure I need.
