Last words

The final moments

Click, click, click time is almost up...

Unable to get up, the blood ran too fast

Seared into my memory to hold captive

Comparing two things with a third

Click, click, click time is not waiting...

Ploy of escape from that abyss

Blowing fingers hanging out of a car

Raging alive once and only once

Click, click, click time is getting smaller...

Eating away at all that’s can be and is

Losing slowly to the heavy weight

Smile for the camera and remember me

Click, click, click time is withering...

Numb and tired of living a lie

Favorite books to read in the dark

Music crashing rhythm just in time

Click, click, click time moved on...

Allow me a chance to explain myself

Putting everything in a box of never mind

So there it is on my tongue walking out

Click, click, click time rolls away...

Lost and looking for another tumbleweed

Stand up and walk alone

Flowers still bloom to look pretty

Click, click, click time caves in...

Voice what you want heard with tenacity

Take a moment of cake and crumble

Jump down a rabbit hole and hide, never!

Click, click, click time loses momentum...

Spring up and run fast toward clarity

Random is not reality it does what it wants

Wing it and don’t plan just go forward

Click, click, click time is savage...

Almost done better say something great

Do not forget to cry over yourself

Knowing is always a prideful brag

Click, click, click time is up...

And I’m out.
