She turned back, her eyes pleading. "Please, come with us," she said. "We need to believe." Taking a deep breath, Violet stepped onto the train. The interior was warm and inviting, a stark contrast to the world outside.

She found a seat next to Lena, her mind racing with questions. The other passengers settled in, their faces a mix of relief and anxiety. The doors closed, and the train began to move.

Violet looked out the window, watching the ruined city fade into the distance. She felt a strange sense of calm wash over her, as if she was leaving behind not just the physical place, but the pain and loss that had defined her life.
