Last Fall Days

Soon frozen for leaving room to Winter

"Appelle mon numéro" ("Call my number") - Mylène Farmer & Laurent Boutonnat (2008)

Leaves color the horizon

Leaving brown shades, subtle

Seeming in fall - winds shuttle

Tree branches as a siphon

Soon leaves will disappear - Right!

I don't know what will last - Left

Rattle of the forest - Weft

And next exposed trees show - Light

Ephemeral sketch paints there

Strip field will expand the spot

In a lying final dot

To remind us the leaves were

"Feuille d'automne" ("Autumnal Leaf"), Indila, 2014

Now the time is suspended

For the last fall of the fall

Thus, I know the cold will come

As I hear the urging call

The winter is bidding home

Fore a near cut not fended.
