Language Restrictions May Apply

Poem

By JAHAN ZABEPublished 7 years ago 1 min read

Hi's and Bye's are go betweens. Is language between us really that clean?

Words we say, from feelings we sway. Never unearthing the depths in play.

I wanna speak to you, without words. I ache to merge, like wind does with birds.

Haunt me with your eyes, worry not, I have no disguise.

The profound nature of language is what I truly seek. Anything but English, it's become so oblique.

So come hither.

Listen to me.

Watch me fly.

Just remember,

language restrictions may apply.
