Land of the Free

Huh ironic isn’t it

How the one land that’s supposed to be free, and your serenity is the one place that they can lock you up and throw away the key

solely based on the color of your skin just because the wind blew the wrong way that day it’s your fault

“You deserve to be locked up in a vault”

And in this unjust world people really let the world tell them it’s okay just bc the wind wasn’t supposed to blow that way that day he deserves it

Huh it’s funny how a black man started his day, walkin to his local grocery store, and just because of the wrong day and a cop living the wrong way, he never woke up to see the morning break day

How ironic isn’t it

Now I want you to ask yourself, is it really the land of the free and home of the brave or are they just good at making the innocent look like criminals.
