Lament of the Leviathans

The Ocean must not Lose them

wandering leviathan

They are the silent wanderers

They are the heart of the sea

Those oceanic majesties

They mean so much to me

I’ve thought of them for many years

Read stories of their plight

Alas their lives are threatened

To save them we must fight

They are as old as time itself

Royalty of the deep

But i fear for their existence

Their tale does make me weep

There are few of us who've seen them

those chosen lucky few

We have gaped in awe and wonder

And theres something we have to do...

We must shout loud and raise our voice

Lets keep them from the dark

They are the great leviathans

Let’s save the basking shark…
