Burning Library Of Alexandria

Silence, stillness, cluttered n’ disorganized

vibe not feeling so energized, people acting demoralized

volumes of intelligent literature, abandoned n’ dying

fears of losing hope, creating sadness n’ crying

Books upon books, of memories n’ wisdom

entered into existence, was a surprisingly curious organism

near a deserted building, flickering light appears near an unknown person

the faith of the elder staying alive, only seems to worsen

Throughout the elder's life, eons spent learning

abruptly tho flickering sparked, starting the dawn of the burning

attending classes, courses, studying all through college

using his time wisely, to gain uncountable collections of knowledge

Soundless, serenity, heartbroken n’ sorrow

loved ones unhappily realizing, he won't be there tomorrow

an entity charred to ashes, and the forgotten athenaeum in flames all around

because when an elder dies, a library burns to the ground.
