His head was so big and his body so small,
Soon he didn’t have a body at all.
He shook and he shouted,
And hoped it hadn’t sprouted.
But it grew n’ it grew and popped like a ball!

She hurries into the dimly lit coffee shop with a battered laptop pinched between her elbow and side, shedding raindrops from her jacket.
