Know How It Goes

The world within a world

By Rachael AnraPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

Staring into a world within a world,

The rippling tides that never seem to fade.

.

Against a vast backdrop that hides away the certainly

Of a new day spilling over the weaken ground.

.

Every sign that passed by

Went away before the night could even flicker alive,

And though there was a longing to find them,

heels dug into the crumbles to root into place.

,

No bother, no strength,

no will to see how the light of dawn became.

.

Just the world within a world and a heavy backdrop,

Glued together as one.

Never to crease nor bend.

Always mingling

Until the sparks of light manage to break through.

But never question where the light came from,

or the world will continue as one,

Once again.
