Kindness of Strangers

Strangers have enriched my life,

a lot this year,

and I hope, they will continue to.

They are not actually strangers,

not different,

but people like me,

with their own life struggles,

complications, frustrations,

yet they decided to extend some empathy,

and support my creative efforts,

unlike the people I know in real life.

They praised my work,

bought my arts, books.

They made me feel

seen and heard.

These supportive strangers are people,

I have earned by public writing,

and sharing my arts,

across diverse online platforms,
