Some instruction

It's been warm

That kind of feeling

Like you've been at the beach all day

The birds are out, singing a song

You feel every want to sing along

But, here it comes, that dreadful feeling

One that makes you want to curl up before screaming

You didn't want this

That haunting feeling

The one that steals the sun and keeps you from dreaming

It makes you pull the curtains

Leaves you uncertain

Nothing but a burden.

Stop. Slow and steady.

Are you ready?

This is your first lesson

let the sun peak through

decide the easiest thing to do

now fill yourself with nutrition and something yummy

next, watch something funny

Next up lesson two

its best if you do something just for you

light a candle, take a walk, go to your favorite ice cream shop

Now whats next? Lesson three

put some music on, feel free

make some comfort food, feel at ease

go to bed early, you have no one to appease

Three lessons - thats what I'll leave.

Small and simple

You've got this

Get back to your feet
