Like a magician's

The niceties ,

The mask that falls
when you blink

only to reappear

the look they give?
How their eyes
don't match their smile

The glitter they show
is not care,
Knowing too will take,
but a while

The wretched twist
Oh, the jabbing
Soon, is it
bound to come?
