Keep Moving Forward

A Poem

Your vapid existence

Is not the same as persistence

You look for someone to blame

Yet, feel no shame in your disdain

Your efforts fell short

It is true

But failure or success

It is on you

Before you blame others

Remember

You have survived worse since falling from your mother

Take care in your despair

For what you may think is unfair

Is held up by more than you care to see

No path is the same

So take care, before you’re swallowed by despair

Life is a marathon

Long and winding

No sense in senseless whining

If there is nothing to learn

Sure, you feel the burn

But we must continue to churn

Before we can earn our place

At the end of the race
