Just suffer in silence

In shadows deep, where light does fade,

Suffering lurks, in silent shade.

A heart that aches, with burdens pressed,

Seeks solace, yearning for some rest.

The weight of woes, like heavy stone,

Crushes dreams, leaves one alone.

Yet in this dark, a truth does gleam,

Suffering shared is less extreme.

For hands outstretched, can hold the tight,

And words of comfort, bring back light.

Though pain persists, and trials may grow,

Together, strength begins to show.

So let us stand, both brave and true,

Facing suffering, it's what we'll do.

With hope as guide, and love our song,

We'll rise above, and carry on.

I love this poem! While recognizing life's dark side, it is filled with hope! With the lesson that we are the ones that hold that hope! Just beautiful! Thank you for writing this.

Apropos to both the times at large in global society and in my personal life. Not everyone has a hand to hold tight; it's a gift to share love and grief.
