Why are you looking at me like that?

I'm not crazy, although you love to accuse.

Did you think our words were simply a spat?

No, I don't want to hear another excuse.

Just leave!

~~~
Every day is a battle with you, yet you're somehow the winner.
You keep treating me like a child, then I'll act like one.
Stop smiling like that, you filthy sinner!
What you did can't be undone.
Just leave!
~~~

I bet you loved sleeping with her in our bed.

That disgusting, soulless whore.

All the while I worked my ass off to keep a roof over our head!

I don't love you anymore.

Just leave!

~~~
This poem was inspired by an argument overheard in the parking lot of my job.
