Just Be Yourself!
Navigating Social Pressures and Self-Discovery in a Busy World
It’s okay to be in a group or to be alone. Just be yourself.
In the past, I used to pretend to be outgoing, saying things I didn’t want to and compromising to fit in. But deep down, I was insecure and scared of being disliked. Looking back, I feel sorry for how I acted.
If you’ve played Tetris, you’ll get this: trying too hard to fit in makes you disappear.
Being alone isn’t scary. It helps you understand yourself better and figure out what kind of person you want to be.
It’s important to love spending time with yourself.
Smart people don’t spend all their time socializing. They know that true connections come from within.
Instead of chasing after things, focus on improving yourself. Eventually, good things will come to you.
Don’t worry about what others think. Just be yourself.
Someday, you’ll find where you truly belong.
