Just as the snow has to melt

A reflection

As they say;

Breathe and you shall find peace

Christ is out there for those who seek.

Destiny tests us at every corner,

Each of us, wondering around

Forgetful, forgiving maybe unbound.

Gone are the days we use to believe

Heaven on Earth, a childlike dream.

I, for one still have hope.

Just as the snow has to melt

Maybe, soon

New beginnings are felt.

Opening our hearts to the

Possibilities that we can make a change

Questioning our existence, experience -

Surely this can’t be it, we cannot sit by while

Tyrants and wrongdoers are in the high

United we must come together

Vocally and unequivocally because knowing

Where there’s evil, there must be good

Xanax, cannot be the only thing understood.

Yet, everyday we do pray; for a

Zest for life - a wish at bay.
