June's Whims and July's Reprieve

Oh, dear June!

What a month it was for me,

A mix of funny and sweet,

Yet overwhelming, you see.

In June's midst,

I made a silly investment,

A choice that brought me strife,

A heavy burden, to my own detriment.

But for others, merely a scratch,

June filled me with chuckles and grins,

And now, here in July's embrace,

Recalling June's events, my mind spins.

I tried to convince myself,

That the bad investment was a wig,

An adornment upon my head,

A fancy addition, a fleeting gig,

Yet it wasn't so, as I must now admit.

June came and went,

Now July dances before me,

Time to bid farewell to June's woes,

Seeking solace in July's gentle spree,

Where peace and respite beautifully flow.
