June

Monsoon In Lucknow

By Ajit KumarPublished 5 years ago • 1 min read

June… June… June… June…,

Maybe I’ll see you soon

Next year, Under full Moon!

By the moment I started to rely

June your hardest noon went apply,

That kept me in longing and eternal sly

As I was born on Fourth of July.

June, the people under influence,

Exhibit beauty and rave

I aware of gem found in deep and cave

Alter by false custom and color to save,

Carry tender heart of sanctity to gave.

Oh! June

Maybe I’ll see you soon,

By the moment you came, you came with feeling of gold

Restless and butterfly infinite,

All my senses emerged as vital as you mold,

How I tell you my cold and clumsy former period fold

My mother said your heat make no ease but a natural hold.

June,

You know the mild breeze that blows

In your sister’s September

I wish you could stay long

And feel as I do until November.

June,

Maybe I’ll see you soon

Next year,

With the same desire

To get restless, to be outrageous

To play with butterfly inside me

And to remain courageous.

June O! June,

Maybe I’ll see you soon

Next year,

Under full Moon!
