Jumping rope, one two three,

The rhythm of childhood, pure and free.

The rope whips by, we jump and sway,

A time of innocence, with friends we play.

"Teddy bear, teddy bear, turn around,"

We chant and sing, feet off the ground.

"Down by the river, where the green grass grows,"

The rhymes we remember, and the memories they bestow.

With each jump, we laugh and smile,

The simple joys of childhood, worth more than any pile.

Our friends beside us, jumping in time,

The world falls away, as we let our imaginations climb.

"Miss Lucy had a steamboat, the steamboat had a bell,"

We sing and dance, our hearts full of swell.

Jumping rope, it's a time of joy,

A moment of play, for girl or boy.

So let's pick up the rope, and jump once more,

Let our spirits soar, as we open new doors.

The memories of childhood, forever in our hearts,

Jumping rope rhymes, a magical art.
