Judgmental Lenses

a poem

She made many comparisons in advance.

Later, she searched for the things that separate us.

Humiliation was widespread.

She had pizza, bread with onion, and a glass of red wine.

You won't know, you judge quickly.

The entire truth became painful.

She sank lower and lower,

in the presence of a man.

In the end,

it was just a shame.

Disorderly connections bothered my mind.

If you think that way,

I have nothing more to say.

This whole situation feels like a charade

with a parade of terrible things.

Are you saying that because

you're in a position of power,

everyone has to listen to you?

You are not my god,

so why do you assume you can

act this way?

Is it just because your culture taught you

to behave like this?

Cultural differences are causing division among us.

But there is something else between the lines.

Humanity lost on the tiny threads

of lack of awareness to the highest extent.

I can’t help that I’m sensitive to these things.

They have been bothering me for years,

so, it’s no surprise that they all came out at once.

There are bitter truths and no luck.

People left my little world.

They didn't see any value in me.

And I felt the same way about them.

We lost the common core in a whirlwind of neglect.

Who will say when this uncomfortable disgrace will end?
