Don't cry for the dead today

Instead, weep for the living

Say a little prayer, and words of wisdom you may

Try to find it in your heart to be forgiving

Remember that it all comes around my friend

And pray for them once they are found

Crying won't help their tortures come to an end

Tell them that the devil's coming to run them aground

In search of an end to their bitter and hopeless lives

Only knowing that one way to be

Now they'll wish they'd found better when they meet the devil's knives
