JOPPA

Where the colors drip.

By HOTPINKHOTELPublished 5 years ago 1 min read
'Joppa' original painting by me. (Oil Paint on Canvas, Wooden frame, Stickers)

Have you ever seen the colors drip?

Slip off the page, rip out the frame?

See I’m a seeker by nature

I find bright hues in the blues.

I cruise and peruse these strawberry skies

Squeeze and sweat these caramel thighs

The sun don’t whisper and neither do I. We’re both golden.

Too hot to touch.

Too big to clutch.

My eyes ooze light.

My smile bright white.

Crooked and hungry, overbite.

Day goes night,

My now black skies

I toss and turn and grind my smize.

Crack teeth on my dreams

These nightmares real.

These colors potent.

They fuel my zeal.

See I’m a seeker by nature

I find dread in the reds.

I smash into mirrors and lose my head.

I slip and I stumble on translucent floors.

Tuning my ears to eternal scores.

I waltz on the green and breathe in the blue.

I bathe in the yellow and follow the moon.

My skin dark orange my

Violet life

My rainbow world

My steel black mic

My frame goes tilt

My brush goes dry

fold my hands and

Watch the sky

The page is turned

The record skips

The day begins

The color drips.
