JOEY

a mother kangaroo makes a big mistake,

to jump before a car,she dies,so sad,and leaves a bub,no milk no warmth,no more,

i take the little bub,i hold her by my side,

i give her milk and love,

she grows with me by my side,

12 months it takes to raise her,

my trust she lives to learn,

never will i leave her,her journey has begun,

a second chance she's given

to go out in the wild,

she will never forget me,i'm her mum,she knows i'm wise

it's sad to see her go,but i know it has to be.

she will all way's come back,if sick or in need.

now she has a baby,she comes to show it off,

i tell her i'm proud of her ,for all that it's worth,

she knows i will be there,when ever she's in need
