Transparent beings, floating free,
Jellyfish glide beneath the sea.
Bell-shaped bodies, soft and round,
Drifting gently, without sound.
Tentacles trail, like ghostly hair,
Capturing prey, unaware.
A stinging touch, a paralyzing sting,
A silent hunter, on the wing.
In hues of blue and green they gleam,
A vibrant sight, a watery dream.
They pulse and throb, a rhythmic dance,
A graceful movement, romance.
Some are small, like tiny bells,
Others large, like living hells.
But all possess a beauty rare,
A wonder of the ocean's lair.
They drift and sway, with currents' might,
A gentle dance, a peaceful sight.
No worries here, no cares or strife,
Just the simple joy of life.
Yet, beneath their beauty's sheen,
A hidden danger, unseen.
Their sting can cause a painful shock,
A warning to all who dock.
So let us marvel at their grace,
But keep a distance, in their space.
For jellyfish, though beautiful to see,
Can be a hazard, wild and free.
