Walls breached, gallows hung,

Rabble primed to "fight like hell",

For what? Anarchy?

Author's Note

On January 6, 2021, a mob of Trump supporters attacked the United States Capital building in Washington following his defeat in the 2020 election in an attempt to disrupt the process of counting votes in order to keep Trump in power. Claiming irregularities in the election process, Trump had exhorted his supporters in a rally earlier that afternoon: "If you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore."

9 people died, many, including 138 officers, were injured and 4 officers died by suicide within 7 months.

Rioters broke into offices and trashed them until finally cleared out and the counting of votes was completed in the early hours of January 7 with President- elect, Joe Biden, declared President.
