It’s about time

It’s finally come out

Only took a few months

But now it’s at least out of the bag

Now I know why

It took so long for it to finally come out

You were scared and ashamed

Of loosing me

You haven’t lost me

But, things are now different between us since the truth has come out

No longer lovers

Just friends

Is the proposition I gave you

since you finally spoke out and told me the truth.

Yes I’m sad, mad, and disappointed but I care deeply and still want us to be apart of each others lives

Don’t feel bad

I’m happy it’s out in the open

I just wish I didn’t have to go behind your back to find out the truth and then pry it out of you

But, what is done is done

No more lies

No more hiding

just the truth

Is all I ask of you from here on out

No more broken promises to be made

I know where I stand and you know where you stand

Just a man and woman who met

Had a very deep connection

But under certain circumstances for one of them

Can’t be together

Yes I’m emotional and confused why you wouldn’t tell me before

But now it’s passed

Let’s just move on

And enjoy the time we still can have

No regrets
