It Sucks Right Now

Stuck in my own rut.

By Cynthia RizzoPublished 9 years ago • 1 min read

Hi,

I'm new to this. Very, very, very new.

I recently quit my job!

I should have thought it through more but it was a toxic place.

I was a receptionist at a hair salon. I know, I know, how bad can a hair salon be?

Well depending if it's corporate, then yeah it's shitty. Take into account the management as well, just yuck.

I feel bad that I left abruptly but I mostly regret not telling the manager off for her behaviour and just ignorance.

So anyway, money is gonna be tight for awhile. *long ass sigh*

But I did this so I gotta fix that soon.

It also blows that with that job my overall mental health wasn't doing so good and now it's sorta plummeted.

I mean I'll try my best to stay optimistic, but I won't lie and say it won't be a bitch. It's a struggle.

I understand my mental illnesses are something I'm gonna have to live with but I refuse to be meek and keep quiet.

Not anymore.

But as of today, it does suck right now.
