The sun has sunk beneath the crest,

The final dusk, a fleeting test,

And in the dark, where echoes fade,

We realize the choices made.

The hourglass has spilled its grain,

Time’s river flows with quiet pain,

In shadows where regrets reside,

We search for what we cannot mend,

In twilight’s reach, our hearts descend.

Yet, in the silence of the night,

We find a spark, a flicker bright,

For even in the hour late,

New dawns arise from what we create.

So though the past may seal our fate,

There’s hope within the hands of late.
