A Note To My Dear Inner Self

There are journeys we take in life that leaves us with pain and lessons either because we lack knowledge or simply out of plain ignorance. We turn blind eyes to red flags thinking we should be ok. But the more red flags we pass, we reach danger zones and we only hurt ourselves.

A scar gained in teenage years tells you that you have passed this journey and that you cannot repeat the same mistake again. In fact, it has prepared you for so many similar journeys that you have encountered and will still encounter. It's like DeJavu.

In working life you gained another scar, this time out of jealousy. You know you did nothing wrong and that you did not deserve the treatment. You fought back to dispel lies weaved against you and you proved everyone wrong.

So my dear inner self, you are now on a new journey and you know you must be smart. And wise. Be bold, be courageous. Watch out for the red flags and steer clear from danger. Keep moving forward and focus your eyes on your purpose as it will determine which exit to take. Seek God in every decision you make and He will show you the right way. 🙏🏻

Omgggg, you're so right about those red flags! The moment we see the first one, we should run in the opposite direction!
