It's just me

retrospecting poetry

By Karun Published about a year ago • 1 min read

Eyes grow wide

He slows down his Stride

Enjoying the best of the breeze

Until everything cease

Shuts his thoughts, drowning in drizzles

ears enjoy the Nightingale's whistle

Moon is not up yet

Tired as the dark sky

Something still holding my back

Of all I need— rest

Rest of all need me

It's just me

I look at him still

In this moment— I blink,

He doesn't.

It's just me.

Looking at my reflection smile

While a tear rolls down me.

Am I still him

It's just me.

As it always will be

Knocking a Open door

Knowing no one will open

It's just me

But it not always should be
